|Introduction: He had to tell her the truth and she could either hate him or not.|
Hey guys sorry it took me so long to get Chapter three up I hope you guys enjoy it!!
“It better not take you as long to visit next time, do you hear me Lydia Turner?” Lydia laughed and escaped her mother’s embrace, “I can’t help my schedule mother.” Her mother bit her jaw and nodded, “I know Lydia it’s just I miss you.” Lydia looked at her mother with an understanding look on her face; she knew what her mother meant. She may have felt out of place in her loving family but she missed them terribly.
“I know what you mean Mom, I can’t promise anything but I will try to call and visit more often.” She gave her mother one more hug and waved to the rest of her family as Brian shut the car door behind her, “Come on guys I haven’t got all day.” Bryce called from the front seat of the truck. Brian slid in beside her and Bryce gave a honk as they headed for the airport, “Geez thought we would never get away.” Bryce said while shaking his head.
“Yeah, but you know how mom can be.” Bryce nodded while keeping his eyes on the road.
“She can’t help it Lydia she just misses you, you’re the only child who is hundreds of miles away.” Lydia looked out the truck window at the overcast skies.
“I know Bryce.”
Brian noticed her gloomy mood and slid his hand into her smaller one, she looked first at their joined hands and then at him before smiling to reassure him she would be okay. She moved closer to him and rested her head on his shoulder as his head chin rested upon hers and his free arm went around her shoulders.
“You sure were quiet the whole trip back, are you okay?” she nodded as he set her suitcase on her bed; it seemed Monica hadn’t returned from her vacation yet.
“Yeah, sorry about that just tired.” She told him slipping off her tennis shoes.
“Is it your family, you seem more upset the further we got from Texas.” He was too intuitive she thought, “I don’t see them as much as I like and sometimes I feel like I am missing things. To be honest with you I have always felt like the out of place one.”
“How so?” he took a seat next to her.
“Well come on look at them, Bryce chose the Marines but he stayed in Texas, Morgan took over the family business and they are both married. I am the only one who chose to move hundreds of miles away to go to college.” She saw Brian’s eyebrow rise.
“And that makes you different how?”
“Why are you asking me so many questions?” he shrugged, “I am just curious, I want to know everything about you.” She smiled.
“Well what about you I really don’t know much about you besides the fact you grew up with your grandmother and grandpa and your dad took off. What was your childhood like?” His humor disappeared, “I told you everything that was important.” She was taken aback by his sudden dark mood, “I didn’t mean anything by it I was just curious.” Why did he always get so jumpy when she mentioned his past?
“Well don’t worry I told you everything.” He looked away from her and out the window, “It’s getting pretty late I better head home.” She reached for his hand, “Are you okay?”
“Yeah why wouldn’t I?” he still seemed to be in a foul mood and she wondered what she has said wrong, without so much a hug or kiss he left her alone in the room. She was stung by his reaction and for a long time stared at the door, there was something he wasn’t telling her.
He felt like a total jerk for the way he had stormed off from Lydia’s dorm, she was only trying to find out things about him. She just couldn’t know the truth, to be honest his childhood had been the opposite of what he had told her, sure his mother had died and he had been forced to leave his home to live with his anal yet religious grandparents but before his dad had taken off life had been hell. His life had been full of guilt and dark things, most endured from his father. She would hate him if she knew the truth about his past, he could never tell her. In anger he punched the wall, pain shot through his hand yet it was lost on him as he stared dumbly at the blood forming on his knuckles. Taking a deep breath he rested his head on the wall and counted back from ten, he needed refrain from losing his temper when he did he usually broke something like he had just done. He sighed as he examined the hole and made a mental note to buy the proper things to mend it. Walking into the kitchen he opened the fridge and removed a beer from it and drank deeply from it, Lydia probably thought she had done something wrong. His cell began to ring and he figured it was her, he set down the beer and answered it, “Hello?”
“Is this Brian O’ Neil?”
“Yes, can I help you?” he heard distant voices and what sounded like a voice over a loud speaker.
“Yes, this is Dr. Norway I am sorry to inform you that your grandfather Richard O’Neil passed away this morning.” Stunned he grabbed the edge of the counter, “I would have called your father Jason but I can’t seem to find a way to reach him.” Brian wasn’t surprised at that tidbit of information.
“What about my grandmother?”
“Well your grandmother was admitted to the Seven Oaks nursing home two months ago.”
“Why wasn’t she informed?”
“She is suffering from extreme dementia and really isn’t able to comprehend the severity of the situation, you are the next of kin to contact for arrangements.” Brian froze.
“Arrangements, you mean come there to make arrangements?”
“Yes you would have to come here to make the proper arrangements.” Go back to his childhood home? He couldn’t, he felt like he was in the middle of some kind of crazy dream, “Mr. O’Neil are you there?”
“Yeah I’m here; I will take care of it.”
“Great I will let the proper people know you will be here to settle it and I am really sorry for your loss, Pastor O’Neil was a wonderful member our community.”
“Yeah thanks.” He heard the line disconnect and he did the same, he had to get out and get some fresh air. Grabbing his coat he didn’t bother to turn out the lights, he needed air now it felt like the room was closing in on him.
Monica had arrived not long after Brian left and they had went out for some coffee to catch up, “Hey isn’t that Brian?” Monica asked pointing towards the window, looking behind her and out the window she was surprised to see it was Brian.
“Yeah, can you give me a minute?” Monica nodded and took a sip of her peppermint mocha as Lydia grabbed her coat and headed out into the snow to catch up to Brian. He was moving briskly and seemed to upset about something.
She called out to him; he turned and stopped moving long enough for her to catch up to him.
“Hey are you okay?”
“No not really.” He replied no emotion showing on his face, his mood scared her and she reached for his hand, “What’s going on?”
“My grandpa passed away I got to head to head home to Milwaukee to take care of it.”
“Oh my god is there anything I can do?” he didn’t look at her.
“Not really, I mean he is dead not much left to do.” She wasn’t used to this kind of attitude from him and she backed away hurt. He could tell he had hurt her feelings and he couldn’t bring himself to say sorry, he wanted someone to hurt like he was and he couldn’t help but take it out on her. She recovered and nodded, “Okay well do you want me to walk you home?”
“If you want.” She took his hand again and headed for his apartment, she was trying to be there for him at least even if he wanted to act this way.
“What happened to your wall?” She was cut off as she was suddenly shoved against the wall next to the front door; her breath was lost as his lips sealed hers in a brutal assault. This wasn’t the Brian she knew and he was too strong for her and to beyond control. She pushed against him weakly which only seemed to make him more crazy as he shifted their bodies and moved towards the bedroom, she was finally able to catch her breath as his lips left her long enough to get them to the bed. The back of her legs hit the bed and she crashed backwards onto it with him on top of her as his hand claimed her breast and he began to pinch her nipple causing it become rock hard in an instant. Something was seriously wrong with him to cause him to act this out of control. She tried to shove against him again and say his name but she was once again cut off as his tongue pushed its way into her mouth and his free hand fumbled with the button on her jeans, she didn’t know what to do so she became still. It didn’t take Brian long to realize she had quit moving beneath him, his movements stilled and she watched a mix of emotions play out across his face. He looked at her with shame in his eyes and without saying a word left the room, the next sound she heard was the front door shut and all was silent. She set up on the bed and looked out into the hallway at the front door tears clouding her vision, that had been a side to Brian she had never seen before. There was something more to what was wrong, that had been more than grief fueling his mood. Her lips were swollen and her hair was a wild mess as she put her head on the pillow and cried out into it.
Brian had walked all night along the quiet streets of Chicago, how could he have lost his control with her. He had felt Lydia struggle under him as he forced himself on her, and when she has stilled and he come to his senses he had been so ashamed to see the hurt and confusion swimming in her sapphire depths that the only solution had been to get as far away from him as possible. He set down on a park bench and rested his hands between his legs as he slumped over, she was probably already gone. Not that he could blame her, if she broke it off with him he would understand. He looked up and sighed, he had taken his inner turmoil out on her and she didn’t even realize why he had done it. His logic was still no excuse to justify what he has almost done to her; sitting back he shook his head. Well he had screwed this one up severely this time, Lydia had been special too. In all honesty he knew he had fallen hard for her, he loved everything about her and when he was with her he didn’t think about how shitty life had been before. To get that kind of escape had been a dream however like most dreams you just needed to face the harshness of reality which was reality sucks and dreams don’t come true well not to people like him. He finally worked up his nerve and shoving his hands in his pockets he headed back to his cold and empty apartment.
“What the hell?” he thought. Lydia was still there she had fallen asleep on his bed her hair pillowed around her like a halo, why had she not left yet? He couldn’t move, he just watched her sleep peacefully as if nothing had happened earlier. She stirred little and he felt a pain in his gut when her eyes opened and she saw him standing there. She set up in the bed.
“Hey.” He moved off the door frame and stood there with his hands at his sides, he looked like hell Lydia thought as she set on the edge of the bed.
“Lydia, I am so sorry I didn’t.” she cut him off, “What happened Brian?”
He stared at her with guilt on his face, “I lost control, I didn’t mean to.”
“That’s not what I asked, tell me what is going on?” she wanted to hear the truth from him. He sighed and set down in the chair next to his desk. He owed her the truth and he knew it if she hated him than he would understand, “My childhood wasn’t as great as I said it was, well it was until I decided to start being a delinquent.” She let him talk.
“I was hanging out with some guys one night and one of them brought a case of beer, we thought it would be cool to challenge each other to a drinking contest and before we knew it we were drunk. I got sick and threw up and being drunk like they were they made fun of me and laughed, embarrassed I called my mom. She was upset but she told me she would be there in a minute to get me but she never showed up, she got into an accident on the way.” She could see him reliving the horrible tragedy as he continued, “Instead my dad showed up two hours later, when I asked him where my mom was he grabbed me pretty hard and started screaming at me and saying how it was my fault and he removed his belt and started to beat me with it, I deserved worse it was my fault she died and later on I got worse. Before we moved in with my grandparents Dad became a drunk and his moods got worse, he would randomly go on a rage and beat the shit out of me and then.” He stopped, “Go on.” He looked at her with shame on his face, “He said since I took her away from him that I had to do what had been expected of her, he made me, he made me do things to him.” Lydia felt her stomach turn at his words, how could someone do that? How could a parent do that to their own child, she went over to him and wrapped her arms around his waist and just held him as he began to sob like a small child.
“It wasn’t your fault Brian and your father shouldn’t have done what he did to you.”
“It was my fault if I hadn’t been out there being a moron she would still be alive.” He said as he held her tightly, he had never told anyone what he had just admitted to Lydia and the years of pent up emotions were finally crashing through the dam he had built around himself. She hadn’t looked at him in disgust instead she had told him it wasn’t his fault, he held her tighter as he let go of his past. Lydia could feel her own heart break as she listened to his confession and how he thought it was his fault his mother had died and how what his father had done was justice for it. She pulled away long enough to caress his face, “Brian you had no control over what happened to your mother you were just a child, and what your father did is unacceptable.”
“I was so scared you would hate me.”
“Hate you? How could I ever hate you for something like that?” she saw relief in his eyes and knew right now he needed comfort, she didn’t let him answer instead she kissed his lips. Brian reacted by pulling her against him and his lips moved against hers in perfect harmony, she hadn’t rejected him she was comforting him. Turning them towards the bed they both toppled on top of it his body atop hers. This time she wasn’t fighting him, instead she was returning his kisses as ardently as he was and in as much of a frenzy. They were like two lovers who had not seen each other for a very long time, he felt like he couldn’t get close enough to her. A soft moan left her mouth and his manhood reacted painfully protesting behind his jeans, he began to push her shirt above her head and she lifted off the bed enough to allow him to be able to remove it completely. He took in her perfect breasts and alabaster skin before kissing her deeply again, he shivered as her hands moved over his chest and down to his pants where she worked on unclasping the button. Once she had it undone he pushed them down relieving some pressure off his throbbing member, he grit his teeth as her fingers brushed against him. Pushing her back against the bed he removed her pants in a hurry leaving her clad in only the purple bra and panties she wore beneath, he wanted her naked and quivering beneath him as he plunged deeply into her moist haven. She set up on the bed in front of him and reached behind to unclasp the bra, he watched her actions with a heat in his eyes. His eyes didn’t leave hers until her breasts were bare before him, god she was so beautiful he didn’t deserve her. Not thinking about anything but her naked body he forced her back on the bed and his lips sought her nipple causing it to bead beneath his teasing, she moaned and bit her bottom lip twisting the sheets in her hand. Her reactions made his need to fulfill her desire grow and his manhood twitched again, he kept his eyes on her as his tongue explored lower. She watched him anticipating what he would do next, and closed her eyes in carnal desire as he pushed aside her panties and his tongue flicked her sensitive bud. It felt a hundred nerve endings had gone off inside her body as his hot breath and tongue teased her causing her grow wet, he eased a finger than two inside her as his tongued worked its magic on her clit. She was coming undone under his teasing and she could feel her body stretching tight like rubber band about to break, her moans increased which caused his tongues movements to increase. She let out a cry and shivered as waves of on orgasm crashed over her without warning and her hands grabbed ahold of his head locking around the tendrils of his hair.
“Now Brian, please I want you inside me.” She didn’t have to tell him twice and he shed his underwear and covered her body with his once again, he didn’t bother to wear a condom this time and the feel of her around his throbbing member almost was his undoing. She was so warm and tight around him and god she was so wet, he slid with ease to the hilt hitting her deep. Her nails bit into his back as he moved against her body, her lips found his and he funneled his tongue inside hers making love to it as he made love to her body. He moved deeply inside her and she felt him reaching her womb with each thrust, her hands moved lower to his rear and she squeezed his butt softly. Her caress made his tempo speed up and caused her to gasp from the sheer pleasure of it, she closed her eyes and moaned again as he nibbled on her ear. His cock was throbbing painfully and suddenly he felt her quicken around him and her womanhood clenched tightly as she came again, the feel of her true orgasm around his bare manhood caused him to spill his own seed inside her and he groaned loudly as pumped into her free of all barriers. With the last of his strength he pushed deeper and finally collapsed against her out of breath, for the longest time she did nothing but rub his hair as she stroked his back. The cool morning air felt good against their sweat covered bodies.
“Thank you.” He managed.
“For what?” he leaned up and looked into her eyes while caressing her face, “For understanding, for loving me, take your pick.” She smiled.
“You don’t have to thank me, I love you which means I love all of you.” He kissed her again growing hard inside her once more, her eyes widened but she soon succumbed once more as she began to move slowly inside her body once again.
