Another Yard will be published in paperback and e-reader this spring. I posted the first chapter to get some feedback on it, just like I've done here. Sadly, I can not delete AY here and will have to bring up copyright issues with this sight. The same for the Driven series as it will be published as well..
Hindsight is 20/20. Wish I knew a publisher wanted it before I posted it.
I don't get a lot of constructive critisisms at XNXX but I do at SOL. The better the story, the better it sells and reviewers of the story help make that happen.
As you read these free stories, drop a line to the author and let them know the positive as well as corrections you think need addressed. If you read a story to the end, give back to the author some critique. Many post the stories for feedback; few receive that feedback in a constructive way. |

[Well, it breaks my heart]- It's priced as cheap as it can get really. 3 bucks seems pretty fair. About the extremes in the novel, I think they are more worried about titling than content.
What that means is, where I say pussy, they would say vigina. My fuck would be their intercourse, etc.
Driven Series will be copyright material and this site will have to remove them all. What I will do is repost the first chapters (after their modifications) here.
SOON- I plan to post the first chapters of each book here. Driven Together should be next. At least that would be something for nothing.

(I wasn't so enthusiastic about this as I was of previous chapters.) I'm sorry about that. It is hard to keep it interesting and set up the plot. I'll try to improve.
(you went all out with James' and Cathleen's vocabulary in the first ) It was intentional. Here's the example. You meet someone, you are courteous at first. That person becomes an acquaintence, you loose cordial conversation to casual. As the relationship progresses with you and your new found friend, you become lax around them.
Note when the Prime Minister entered the story line and even that brief encounter showed heavy cordial language. Had James continued a relation with him, his words would become less cordial over time, getting familiar with the person and eventually dropping all cordial for casual conversation.
I intended the relationship to progress by using less cordial words and it helps develop a closer bond between the characters. |

I do take advice and correct words and phrases that people email me. So, my editors are people that catch the mistakes and tells me of them. With that said, I will admit some of my failings:
12 times I used the word breathe instead of breath.- don't ask me, I'm stupid sometimes.
4 times I called Cathleen as Cathlene- yes, I must be dislexic.
Once, I used the term lode instead of load. How odd is it to see shit lode (meaning treasure) instead of shitload ( meaning alot) |

I found it odd that what Zach found as weird you find as stupid. It may keep you in suspense as the story progresses but you will enjoy it more than most.

Starting in Chapter 4 Dave was introduced as Dave. His parents call him David or Dave. Like many parents, children are called one way by parents and another by friends and family. The Name Elizabeth has spawned many variations but it is agreed that Libby, Liz, Beth, etc. is an abridged Elizabeth. Dave of David is considered correct.
That said, I will revise the story to read DAVE so others wont meet such a dilimma. |
