Like the other guy said, don't let the occasional moron get to you. As for any normal, intelligent person, we can follow the storyline just fine. The misdirection about the wedding was well written, and I cannot understand how some people don't get it. Anyway, take your time Dizzy, and keep up the good work. |

I got very emotional reading this. I've been waiting for so long to find out how Joey and Ashley would react to seeing each other again. The way you write about Ashley makes me love her. Very pleased with this chapter. How many more chapters are there left? |

I just scrapped my chapter 5, and started over. Don't worry though, it's not that I'm stuck or anything, it's just that I came up with a much, much better idea. The Chapter 5 I had before was missing something very important, but now it has it, and it should be a way better story because of it. Sorry about the delay, but it's well worth the wait. |

Based on the significant amount of negative feedback in regards to Chapter 4, I have decided to rewrite it. This isn't the sort of thing an author wants to ever have to do, and I would never consider doing this otherwise. If after this, (one, and only one time that I will rewrite a chapter) I bomb the story again, it will not be changed. To anyone who enjoyed this chapter as it is, I'm sorry, but I have sent in a delete request. The current version of Chapter 4 should be taken down once the request gets processed. |

Maria's Favor to a Geek - Chapter 4 |
I planned right from the very beginning to have Maria and Darren hook up. Sorry to see that it's not what most wanted. But it's going to tie into the overall bigger picture by the end of the entire story. I understand people getting attached to the primary theme (and wanting it to stay consistent), but in order to draw the bigger picture, it requires these temporary tangents in order to bring it all together. Just be patient and it'll all clear up in time. |

Sorry about taking so long with the next chapter. I am working on it. I can't say when it'll be done, but it's coming along. My excuse is that I'm having a hard time deciding what I want to make happen, and it affects the whole story, so I'm taking my time to think everything over before going through with any serious decisions. |

The style I'm going for is a split-focus story. Maria comes back into focus in the next chapter. I want to have variation in character clusters; Steve & Sarah are romantic characters as an example. Whereas with Maria and Mike, they are less attached, and more sexually driven. I also have plans for other characters. This is to help cover a larger variety of archetypes. |
