I thank everyone for the countless emails that you have sent. Alot of people have asked me to rewrite the conclusion and epilogue, dozens have asked that I start writing another series detailing Brian and Alexis in their later lives. At this time, I have no plans to do either. I'm comfortable with the story as it is, I feel I have gone as far as I can with it. Perhaps in the future I might consider A Game Of Inches, The Later Years, but for now, I am working on a new story. Thanks for all of the emails and support, I appreciate it. |

I want to personally thank everyone for the amazing feedback I received for the Conclusion of "A Game of Inches", it was simply incredible. I also want to thank everyone who gave me negative feedback when you felt I deviated from my story. At first, i was tempted to abandon it, but then I realized that had I not tried to please everyone, it would not have happened. Now I will outline a story prior to writing, I will stay true to my plot, even though the readers opinions will still be considered. Some of the comments posted for the Conclusion, expressed concern that I should have expanded my conclusion to include what happened to Ashley, Mr. & Mrs. Timmons, their daughter Gia, Coach Mike, and well as several other characters. I could have probably did that, but it would have taken many more chapters to conclude and I felt , along with support from many of the veteran writers on the site, it was time to end it. Thanks to everyone for the kind words. After hours of thought, I think I may have worked out a conclusion in my head. I started writing it last night. I hope to post the last chapter and conclusion sometime next week. Thanks for your patience as always. Wow, I have been out of pocket for a while but I see things have gotten a bit heated. Guys, everyone needs to calm down, it's simply a free story on an x rated site. The story means nothing in the grand scheme of things. If you like it ...fine, if you don't...that's fine too. Addressing the one comment made by a member, I do not leave anonymous posts, and I answer every email I get you can check with the readers. BUT the story has been shelved, I haven't started Chapter 16, nor I doubt I will. I was simply doing this for enjoyment. I understand I messed the story up, but who really cares ? And someone commented on how mechanical my sex scenes are, they are right, I find those the hardest to write, I know they are BAD. To my readers, I'm not sure there will be a chapter 16, I have gotten so many nasty emails telling me I ruined the story simply by trying to give the readers what they want. I know now that was a mistake, but I am a new writer, I guess I need to learn. I do thank all the wonderful people who have backed me through the two stories I have written. To the ppl who chose to send me the nasty emails, I have spent hundreds of hours writing these stories for absolutely nothing. You get to read them for nothing. While you may hate my stories at least acknowledge the time I have invested in them. Just please tell me why you don't liek them, how you feel I can iprove etc. ......Telling me a mentally defective crackhead could write a better story is not constructive criticsm. I have enjoyed writing for you, and meeting some of you via email. To all of the wonderful writers on this site, keep up the good work, but stay true to yourself, something I have learned the hard way. Take care and be safe. |

To the reader two comments below : You're right about the fact I brought Ashley back in large part to requests by readers. I guess it was a mistake now looking back at it. It's hard to please everyone as I am finding out the more I write. At this time, I have put this story on the shelf, due to the large number of comments suggesting I end it. I'll give it some thought and maybe write a conclusion, obviously what I had in mind for the ending, will not be well liked now. As always, thanks for everyone's support. |

You my friend, spin a yarn as only you can. Working Ashley back into the story was a work of genius. It wiil be interesting to see how this all wraps up, but either way, I want to personally thank you for a very interesting read. You make your characters so real, so life like, that I almost feel like I'm in the story as well. The fact that the story had limited sex is what makes it seem so believable. To the reader's who commented about Alexis' statement about never being with a woman before the bachelor party I offer the foillowing. Even though I did mention a mutual masterbation experience in college, the experience in the strip club didn't catagorize as a repeat of that, at least in my eyes it did not. I'm sorry for the confusion but I would not classify a young guy masterbating with a male friend early in life as truly sexual expereince with another man later in life. I realize that this story lacks the sex that most of the others on this site has. For those of you that just want wall to wall sex, may i suggest you read one of the many other wonderful stories on this site. To the one anonymous reader who had to post that my story was terrible six times, I guess you're only trying to ruin the rating on the story. While I know there's not alot of sex in the story, I feel less is sometimes more. I try to make the story as realistic as possible, normal people do not jump into bed 10 minutes after meeting someone. I know I make some grammatical errors, I'm not a professional writer, i do it for fun. All in all, most people seem to enjoy the story as I write it, so for them I will continue without any change. I will try to answer as many comments as possible with the following :
First as much as I have been asked for an alternative ending keeping Courtney alive, I cannot see myself doing it. Courtney's death is an intregal part of the storyline that will continue. Second, I do again apologize for the delay between chapters however as I stated previously, I work about twelve to fourteen hours a day, so I do my best to get another chapter up as soon as possible, please bear with me. I do aplogize for the grammar mistakes, sometimes I do rush the prrof read to get the chapter posted, I am sorry, I will do a btter job from now on.
