I did find some reference to women warriors but nothing that would indicate Comanche used them. Thanks for the postive comments.

The rifles of that era did use lever action but they still had an external hammer system. I spoke with an expert at a gun shop and he showed me a few models that would have been used and the handguns that also took the same ammunition. Thanks for reading and taking the time to comment.

I wrote this story just as a way to further develop Brittany's character. The idea that her value system is so warped that working at a fast food restaurant is worse than being a stripper, shows her state of mind and how superior she thinks she is. Add to that her sudden interest in Jimmy, because of his rejection of her, and you get a sense of what she is all about.
Since TLBBoB starts at the beginning of the next school year, and because of the many requests I have had to tell some of the things that Brittany had to endure as payback, I thought this story would be an interesting way to fill in the gap between the two time periods.
It seems readers either love it or hate it, and I need to decide if I should delete Brittany's First Summer as it really isn't needed to help tell the rest of the story. I thought it might be a nice update since TLBBoB will take a while to finish.

The title was actually for the entire story... this is only the first half. Literally.
Jimmy believed Brittany was telling the truth because he is young and naive. That's my explanation and I'm sticking to it. :-)
For all the rest of the questions... the answers are in The Blackmailed Forger (to be reposted soon) and the second half of the story (to be posted not so soon).

At 5'7" and 140lbs she was a real beauty. Her milky white skin and long red hair didn't detract from her looks either. She was rich and elegant with a 'better than you' personality that made him want to teach her a lesson. In fact, he hated it that she always made it seem like he wasn't good enough.
He wasn't bad looking himself. He was 6' tall, and had a very sexy body. His hair was dark brown and his eyes were a very stunning shade of green.

Thanks for the comments. The entire story was outlined before I started writing and I havent deviated from the original plot. Every chapter has a purpose in my stories and helps set up the next part.
Sorry if you guys think I have lost my way since I have a very definite story line and I thought it was clear. I can see how only getting one chapter at a time might make it confusing since you cant just keep reading to see where I am going with it.
To make it easier, I will divide the story in half and only post the remaining few chapters of the first part when I am at an appropriate stopping point. Then I will develop the second half as a sequel and post it when I am completely finished. Hopefully, the story will make more sense that way.

I think you are mistaken. The effets you mention are considered late systematic. These would not show up for about 12 hours. The early systematic effects are mentioned in the text and the venom would not kill her even in a large volume. This is because the scorpion featured is the Giant Hairy Desert Scorpion form Arizona which any expert would have know by the description given. The pinchers of this scorpion would not tear the skin of the labia either. If you were an expert, or had consulted one as I did, you would know this. |

I see your point. Here is mine.
Derrio is a drug kingpin that abducted and held her in his compound with armed guards. Not much chance to go to the police.
Derrio kills people for fun. What do you think happened to her husband?
Derrio lives in Florida where it is nice and warm when this story takes place. Not likely to die of exposure in 3 days.
The story says at five weeks she wasn't completely healed. Did you read the story?
As for the reason Derrio is interested in her, well, that is called a plot. Sorry to keep throwing those in there but hey, I'm the one missing TV shows to write this. Hint: You can find the answer in The Paper Hanger.
For any other questions please refer to the genre that clearly states this is a work of fiction. I think that about covers it.
That said, if you are the resounding voice of the rest of the community, I will be keep the rest of the story to myself.
