Cap is in the process of feverntly rewriting a very large section. Some how he forgot that Richard gave up his bracers to Lillin and as such wrote more than half the chapter under the assumption he still had them. Update:
We haven't started on chapter three yet, but for future reference we would like to keep the release schedule to a one week period, so basically on the weekends for now. I do realize Cap was releasing one every other day a while back but life has a way of slowing down things.
As it stands right now, I have forbidden him from starting the next chapter until tomorrow at the earliest. I thought he deserved some 'him time' after everything he has done for me, which is a lot. Honestly, he was taking care of me pretty much every day I was unable to myself for nearly a month, so he really deserves a small break from me. Not to fear though, this will not slow down the release of the next chapter.

3) Magic 101 and reason in a magical sense? Magic doesn't exist (or possibly only to a very small portion) as it does in books, comics, movies, and video games. Sure, there are certain guidelines that one could follow when writing about it, but there really is no set rules in place. The reason for this is because magic would break every physical law we humans abide by in our daily lives. If someone can create a flame in the palm of their hands from nothingness or imbue their bodies with magical powers to increase physical strength, speed, and other such things than everything about our world would be a lie in a greater sense. You can read or watch different stories that contain magic and find discpreincies in how the power acts and how it comes into existence.
If I can say one thing it would be that this is an unfinished story and you really only have a portion of all the facts up till this point.

We're sorry you have lost interest in this series, but thank you for reading up until this point. It's doubtful you would come back to read any replies to your comment, but for the others reading this that feel the same way I would like to make a few things clearer.
1) The other Masters and Daughters refer to Lillin as being Richard's master for the simple fact that in a sense she is, even if she can't take him on as the Son of Wind and Lightning. She is watching over his training and helping him along with what little knowledge of Roku she has.
2) Richard's Light Magic is fed by his emotions, so helping him become a calmer and more mellow person it can alleviate some of the strain he has been feeling from the darker side to his power. As for controlling it completely, well that is actually covered a little later on so stay tuned if you want. |

Thank you everyone for the best wishes. Mish here. Cap told me he posted the chapter and I wanted to see how it was being received, and seeing all your messages really made me smile. It's been a hard time lately but you all really perked me up. And not to worry, Cap is really taking care of me. He's the best friend I could ask for, and honestly I am glad he rebuffed my sexual advances a few months ago because this is what I really needed right now from him.
As for the story, I am doing my best to get back to my normal self and I would like to get another chapter done in a week or so. Don't worry, we will keep you updated this time.

Okay, so here is the story, I (Mishikail) am a bit of a dumb blonde... the fact that I tried cleaning captius's computer desk and accidentally knocked over his laptop is proof positive. We were just about to go through the final read through and I broke his laptop. We took it in to get fixed only to be told that it was beyond repair. I don't know much about computers but it was bad.... like nearly snapped in two bad. So it took a few days to get word back that it wasn't going to be fixed... I (being the nice person I am and fixing my mistake) bought him a brand new computer to make up for my mistake. I am terribly sorry to everyone for the extended wait but we now have to start over from word one on the next chapter. Once again... I AM VERY SORRY.
Cap asked me to put this in to also make amends: I am an idiot and shouldn't touch another persons work station. Buying a new computer does not make up for my mistake. I am horribly sorry.

So I just started writing the next chapter for you all, so I will post it in the next two to three days. Mishi thinks I should rest some more but I'm pretty good now. Even went out and played some hockey and only minor pain.
As for those who say this is becoming predictable... well keep in mind you've only read two thirds of the story. If you can't stick with it until the end then no worries. This is Mishikail's baby and she is dictating it the way she wants it to be. Writing is a creative expression, something most authors do to tell the story they want, not the one a few readers want. So for those of you that are sick of this and call it predictable, well thank you for reading up till now but don't expect a writer to change what their vision is because a few people whine about it.
Sorry for the rant. Anyways... look forward to the next chapter everyone. |

Thanks all for the support. I am writing the next chapter as we speak and I hope to have it done by Monday night at the latest. In answer to the question on how I broke my rib, well it's a stupid story. My brother who is in the military came to visit and we went to the bar with some friends and got pretty drunk. On the way home we decided to wrestle in the snow... bad idea. He flipped me onto my back on ice and it broke. Not the smartest thing we have ever done, but oh well.

Klamer, I made that same point to Mishikail when we were going over the outline for this chapter. But she 'explained' to me that he was entirely in a stable frame of mind in that moment and he did end up getting stopped by Loki before he could do anything.
Also, here's a little update: after sleeping off a hang over for more then 16 hours I am awake but in a great deal of pain. I apparently got into a wrestling match with my military trained brother and ended up getting slammed onto a batch of ice. It's hard to concentrate on anything right now but I am doing my best to push through and keep writing. Sorry in advance if the next chapter is delayed a little.

Sorry for the extended wait everyone. It will take a bit longer than I thought to get the next chapter of this story out. Real life keeps getting in the way.
I am working on the fourth chapter of Words as we speak though. I am also working on a final chapter for Defiance since I have recieved so many PMs from people asking for me to delve into what happened next. I plan on putting those both out at the same time and with any luck it will be in the next two weeks.
Most of my time right now is spoken for though as a really close friend of mine is forcing me to slave over adapting and finishing the Defiance storyline for mainstream publication. I haven't forgotten about all of you though and I promise there is more to come for all of you who have stuck with me from the beginning. |

Yes in the original version there is no sex but I do mention that they spend the night together on many occasions. Basically in the original text there is no explicit words or sex scenes, more of a fade to black kind of thing.
Amy does get pregnant at the end of the first book just like she did here because their daughter is the main character of the next book
As for when it will actually be published, well I don't really know. I am currently rewriting the first book for the third time trying to hammer out the story so it flows better and the second one hasn't even been started yet. I am not in talks with a publisher or even contacted one. I'm actually thinking of doing something different and releasing it free on ITunes and amazon for ereaders and such. It's just an idea I am toying with but I feel in twenty years paper books might just be a thing of the past.Even thought I love them so much they seem to be on the way out as eread sales sky rocket. |

Through time they change their names, growing bored with the old ones and picking up new ones. Basically they are the reason for most of the ancient religions. Hey everyone who is reading... if you have caught my comments before you know I had been writing these on no sleep. Well I managed to get some sleep but have been having a busy day. I will try to get chapter six up by midnight tonight.
Please understand that some people who would like to see certain things, not everything will help make the story flow. I like telling a story, so if something hinders that process it will usually get cut. So the need for continuation will always over come something of that nature. I will try my best to make everyone happy though.
